Archana R was not able to pursue her studies after the 12th grade owing to financial issues. Her father was the only earning member of the family. She tried to search for jobs, but due to lack of skillsets and limited education, she was unable to find a job. One of her friends suggested her to join the Basic Computer Skills program at the Bangalore Livelihood Development Centre. Archana was interested in computers from the very beginning and thought it would be a good career option for her as Yuva Parivartan would assist her in finding a job. On completion,she started working for First Computer as a computer operator, earning a salary of INR 13,000 per month. Archana is now able to support her family and is grateful for this opportunity offered by TVS Credit and Yuva Parivartan. “Teaching is very good & I can understand clearly & easily with the help of blended learning. Apart from Teaching skills, Yuva Parivartan also teach ‘SOCH KA PARIVARTAN’ which helps us more in our daily work”, says Archana about her experience.

M Saquib belongs to a low-income family. Due to financial constraints, he was not able to continue his studies after 12th grade. He decided to support his family but found it difficult to get a job. He came across Yuva Parivartan through a mobilization drive. He visited the Centre, learned about different courses offered, and later opted for the Basic Computer program. After completing the program, he was placed at ‘I Process’ as a computer operator and started earning a salary of INR 15,000 per month. He is happy that he can now support his family.

Sachin Pande lives with his parents in Junnar. His father is the only person in the family. He earns INR 9,000 per month. He came to know about Wireman course through Yuva Parivartan’s pamphlet. When he enquired about the program, the facilitator shared details about the course and the job opportunities he could explore post course completion. Sachin enrolled for the course and completed it successfully. Yuva Parivartan helped him in job placement with Akshar Prakshepan Pvt. Ltd. He is currently working and earning INR 9,000 per month, and now feels more confident and independent.

Dnyaneshwari Balvant Shirtar, 18, lives in the Junnar area in Pune. Her father, a daily wage earner, is the only earning member of her four-member family. Her father earns around INR 5,000 per month, which is barely enough for the family. Dnyaneshwari got to know about Yuva Parivartan and the Jute Bag Making program through a Pamphlet. She saw it as a means to earn an income and support her family. After completing the Bag Making program along with the training, Dnyaneshwari started her business named ‘DNYANESHWARI LADIES TAILOR’. She now earns INR 5,000 monthly. She is grateful to TVS Credit and Yuva Parivartan in bring about a positive change in her life.

Harshad Sitaram Chavan, lives in Ambegaon, Pune with his parents and younger brother and sister. His father works as a laborer and has no steady source of income. Harshad wanted to work in order to support his family. He got to know about the Multi- skill program through a mobilization drive held in his area. He soon visited the centre and got to know the finer details of the program. After consulting his father, Harshad enrolled for the program. He completed his training and subsequently started working at HI Speed Multi solution, earning INR 9,000 per month. He is thankful to TVS Credit & Yuva Parivartan for giving the opportunity to support his family.

Anjali Gaikwad, lives in Ambegaon, Pune. She hails from a poor family, and could not pursue her education due to financial constraints. Her father works as a wage laborer & is the only earning member. The family could hardly manage a square meal. Anjali decided to support her family but was directionless. She came through a mobilization drive conducted by Yuva Parivartan in her area. She visited the centre and learned about the different courses. She decided to enroll for the Multi- skill program. After completing the program, she got placed at Hi Speed Multi Solution and started earning a salary of INR 7,000 per month. Anjali is now able to support her family and is grateful for this opportunity offered by TVS Credit and Yuva Parivartan.
