Mr. Venu Srinivasan is an accomplished engineer and an MBA graduate from Purdue University in the USA. He took over as the CEO of Sundaram-Clayton, the holding company of TVS Motor, in 1979 and is widely credited with revolutionising the two-wheeler industry in India. His introduction of joint ventures and new generation two-wheelers in India paved the way for the Indian companies to become world-class and manufacture exceptional products with a commitment to excellence and a imbibe culture of innovation. He has received numerous accolades and awards, including the Order of Diplomatic Service Merit from the President of the Republic of Korea in 2014, the JRD Tata Corporate Leadership Award from the All-India Management Association in 2004, and the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan Awards from the President of India in 2010 and 2020, respectively. He was also the first Indian industrialist to receive the Deming ‘Distinguished Service Award for Dissemination and Promotion Overseas’ in 2019 for his contributions to Total Quality Management (TQM). Currently, Mr. Srinivasan serves as the Chairman Emeritus of TVS Motor Company.
Mr. Sudarshan Venu graduated with Honours from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania in the U.S. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School, both also, from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he completed a Master’s degree in International Technology Management from the Warwick Manufacturing Group, a department of the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. During his Master’s program, Mr. Venu gained a hands-on experience in the die casting division of Sundaram-Clayton Limited and TVS Motor Company Limited. He has been instrumental in driving TVS Motor’s international expansion into Africa, ASEAN, and Latin America. Mr. Venu has been recognized as the GenNext leader of India Inc. by Forbes India, a leading business magazine. He is currently the Managing Director of TVS Motor Company Limited and TVS Holdings Limited.
With a wealth of experience spanning more than 25 years in diverse financial domains such as Retail Assets, Insurance, Cards, and Wealth Management, our CEO, Ashish Sapra is driving TVS Credit into a transformative phase of extensive digitisation, enhanced customer acquisition and holistic growth. His vast experience in profit and loss (P&L) management, digital initiatives, senior stakeholder management and guiding businesses to profitability is shaping the bright future trajectory of TVS Credit. Under his guidance, the organisation’s total income grew by 51% in FY23 from the previous year. The organisation has also been recognised as a ‘Great Place to Work’ by the Great Place to Work Institute – the ‘Gold Standard’ in workplace culture assessment.
Prior to joining us, Ashish contributed over 14 years of expertise to the Bajaj Group, leading operations in Housing Finance, General Insurance and NBFC sectors. His professional journey also includes valuable experiences at American Express and HSBC. He has also completed the Advanced Management Program from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
In 1984, Mr. Radhakrishnan embarked on his professional journey as a management trainee with the group. From 1984 to 1995, he held several positions in Sundaram-Clayton Ltd, during which the brakes division won both the Deming Application Prize and the Japan Quality Medal. Subsequently, in the year 2000, Mr. Radhakrishnan joined TVS Motor Company as the head of business planning and has been serving as the company’s CEO since August 2008.
Mr. B. Sriram is an accomplished professional with a remarkable career. He is a Certificated Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (formerly The Indian Institute of Bankers), Mumbai, and has a Diploma in International Law & Diplomacy from the Indian Academy of International Law & Diplomacy, New Delhi, as well as, an AIMA Diploma in Management from the All India Management Association, New Delhi. He is an Honours Graduate and also holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from St Stephen’s College, Delhi University.
Throughout his career, Mr. Sriram has held various executive positions, including Managing Director & CEO of IDBI Bank and Managing Director of State Bank of India from July 2014 to June 2018. He began his career with State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in December 1981 and has undertaken key roles within the Bank and the Group in areas such as Credit and Risk, Retail, Operations, IT, Treasury, Investment Banking, and International Operations.
Mr. Sriram is currently on the board of ICICI Bank as an Independent Director and also as a member/ Chairman of various committees of the bank. He also serves as an Independent Director on the board of several other companies. In addition, he has also taken on a few advisory positions.
Mr. R Gopalan is a knowledgeable and accomplished individual who has contributed significantly to the development of the financial sector in India. He is an experienced individual who has held several notable positions throughout his career. He currently serves as a member of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), which falls under the control of the Prime Minister. Prior to his role at PESB, Mr. Gopalan served as the Secretary of the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India until his retirement in July 2012. During his tenure, he effectively represented India in various international forums, including G-20 meetings, ADB, World Bank, and IMF meetings. He brought about numerous changes to the functioning of the capital markets and introduced new policy measures in infrastructure. Before serving as the Secretary of the Department of Economic Affairs, Mr. Gopalan held the role of the Secretary of the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, where he oversaw banking, insurance, and pension reforms. In this role, he supported Public Sector Banks (PSBs), Insurance Companies, and Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) through policy guidelines, legislative and other administrative changes, monitored their performance, and formulated policies for NBFCs, private banks, and foreign banks. He also coordinated between the industry, banks, and financial institutions, and participated actively in various Ministerial Meetings of WTO for Trade Negotiations. Mr. Gopalan holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Boston University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Management from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
An internationally recognised lawyer, Ms Unadkat specializes in corporate and M&A laws, bringing a global perspective to her practice. She is qualified Solicitor registered with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society and the Law Society of England & Wales. With over two decades of legal experience, she is a strategic adviser to clients and boards, particularly recognised for her expertise in M&A and Corporate Governance principles.
Ms Unadkat advises on board effectiveness with a focus on corporate governance, leadership, organisational climate, and decision-making. In this regard, she has led several workshops and has trained more than 300 directors with a comprehensive approach to director development. In addition to her role at Eris, she is also an independent director on the boards of several public companies (both listed and unlisted).

Dr. Deepali Pant Joshi, is a doctorate, holds a Master’s Degree in Arts from the University of Allahabad, law graduate from the University of Lucknow and also completed the Harvard University Harvard Asia Centre Post-doctoral work in Finance and Economics (on secondment from the RBI). She has more than four decades of experience in the formulation of macro- economic policies. Dr. Deepali Pant Joshi joined as a Direct Recruit Grade B officer in 1981 and retired after a long and distinguished career as Executive Director. She headed various departments in RBI including the Department of Rural Planning and Credit and Financial Inclusion Department and Customer Service & Financial Education Department. During her long career with RBI, she had also held some key positions like:
She also handled the other important assignments as Chief General Manager incharge Rural Planning Credit Department, Planning Commission, Member 12th plan group on rationalisation of Government Sponsored Schemes, Malegam Committee on Interests and Concerns in the Microfinance Sector, Committee on comprehensive services for small businesses and low income households and G-20 India Expert on the Financial Inclusion and Payment Systems Expert Group.
She has published various books on Economics, Financial Inclusion and Sustainable Development.
Mr. T.C. Suseel Kumar retired as Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) in January 2021, concluding a career spanning nearly four decades. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Kumar held various key positions within LIC, including Managing Director, Executive Director, and Zonal Manager, both in India and abroad. He managed major departments such as Marketing, CRM, HR, Finance, Audit, Corporate Governance, and Investments, and led LIC’s foreign operations in Mauritius.
Mr. Kumar is recognized for his deep knowledge of analytics and strategic business planning, which helped LIC achieve record-breaking milestones in First Year Premium Income and market leadership growth. He pioneered a market research program targeting millennials, resulting in over 100,000 new agents in 2020-21. He also implemented real-time automated business data compilation and analysis, enhancing strategic decision-making.
In addition to his roles at LIC, Mr. Kumar has served on the boards of several prominent companies, including Axis Bank Limited, Bombay Stock Exchange Limited, Lakshmi Machine Works, and National Mutual Fund (Mauritius). He currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Manappuram Finance Limited, Phillips Carbon Black Limited, and First Source Solutions Limited.
Mr. Sanjiv Chadha is the retired MD and CEO of Bank of Baroda. Under his leadership, Bank of Baroda transformed into a technology-driven, highly profitable entity, becoming the fourth largest bank in the country.
Prior to leading Bank of Baroda, Mr. Chadha served as the MD & CEO of SBI Capital Markets Ltd. He was also the Chairman of SBICAP Ventures Ltd., where he launched the Swamih Fund. Additionally, he led SBI’s UK operations and successfully established its UK subsidiary.
In a 32-year career at State Bank of India, Mr Chadha served for an extended period in Corporate Credit and his other assignments included Executive Secretary to Chairman, State Bank of India; Group Head, M&A and Corporate Advisory, SBI Capital Markets and CEO, SBI Los Angeles.”
